These patterns are immediately recognisable as Greek in origin. As an artist and designer, its been very obvious that the refinement in Greek Culture survives on into the future with the balance of all the design criteria, so evident in their pottery, sculpture and architecture.
By adapting the many patters they left for us in history, this design is automatically balanced, dramatic, yet subtly sophisticated, without me trying too hard.
