This piece draws the eye in from the outer feathers and visa versa from the inner core of the elements to the feathers.

The five Elements: Earth, water,Fire, Air and Ether; Fauna and Flora: Trees and their differing greens and barks; Corn and the multiple variations; soils and their different colours and textures. Horses; Bear; Elk; Wolf; Bobcat and Bison hint at the abundance of sepcies, as well as the changing geographies we live in, from the cold winter to the warm coastal Summers, These all highlight the diversity in how we live; the basic understanding that our food comes from the soil and its diversity, and the understanding that our energy is emitted by the Sun and planets within the larger cosmos.

The feathers all represent the different tribes on Earth. We are connected to and dependant on our planet and its place in the cosmos.

I wanted to show that we can live harmoniously and co-operatively on Earth.
