My take on Leopard and Cheetah print is a fusion of both. Nature’s colour palettes allow me to experiment with shape, scale and ratio, letting these new designs emerge.

My process often starts with a feeling… ‘movement’ was what I felt while designing this Series. The finished pattern then made me think of sea anemones. Nature once again guided me in the colour combinations of the designs; the greens of kelp, the purples and contrasting colours of starfish and coral reefs, reflecting the overall palette of the ocean.

I’m inspired by all the symbols, colours and myths on our Multicultural Earth. I feel if we could all see the connection we have to them, disparity between us would vanish. my aim is to fuse these elements in my artwork and help create a new way of looking at our future as one species on earth.
